Is 397 definetlly a large tin of condensed milk? need answer asp as im trying to make tablet?

Yeah, I made banoffee pie the other day which needed 400g and that was the biggest tin I could find.





Came out very nice though.

Bearing in mind that you are making tablet, are you sure that's enough? :-)
Reply:I am a former chef and in the U.S and Canada it is the common size for grocery store or shops, in the U.K you have the Nestle/Carnation brand and the local store/shop brands like Tesco and ASDA.





The candy and food processing companys can purchase a larger 48 oz or 100 oz size for making candy, fudges, pies and in other large scale food processing situations, unless you have access to those facilitys or a friend who could get you one, the shop brand are the only one available, you may need 2 for your recipe, and use the rest in you coffee or tea, dilute it a bit it is strong.
